Starting to exercise during your pregnancy
Were you not much of an athlete before you got pregnant? Do you find exercise not very interesting and prefer not to do it? Now that you're pregnant, it might start to gnaw at you that you're not doing much exercise. That's not a bad thing at all because you can start exercising during your pregnancy.
You can still start exercising during pregnancy. Even if you didn't do anything at all beforehand, there is no harm in picking it up now. It is important, however, that you build up slowly and don't go too fast.
For example, do you want to do more fitness? Then start with a combination of cardio exercises, muscle strengthening exercises and of course stretching afterwards. This way your body can get used to exercising and you can build it up very slowly.
The best tip we can give you regarding starting to exercise during pregnancy is; always listen carefully to your own body! Your body will always tell you if something is too much and you should listen to it.
