What is Mom in Balance?

Mom in Balance is a pregnancy workout that is not just practiced during pregnancy, but also in the recovery period up to nine months after childbirth!

What is Mom in Balance and does it suit you?

Mom in Balance is a pregnancy workout that is not just practiced during pregnancy, but also in the recovery period up to nine months after childbirth! During pregnancy Mom in Balance ensures that you strengthen your whole body and through this have more strength during childbirth and for your child’s upbringing.

During the program you train your whole body, but the focus is on the muscles in your back and pelvic floor; the muscles you will need most during childbirth. Once your baby is born the focus will be on making a quick recovery, so that you can once more live your life full force. At this time, you will again train your whole body, but the emphasis is on the pelvic floor. Finally, Mom in Balance emphasizes balance in other aspects of life: The balance needed between your new child, your work, and your social life.

How do you know if Mom in Balance is for you? What sport suits you best is of course difficult to determine and completely dependent on personal preference. At Mom in Balance, the focus is on strength sports more than would be the case with other pregnancy workouts, such as yoga. So, if you like strength sports that can be a strong argument to opt for Mom in Balance instead of, for example, for ZwangerFit or prenatal yoga. Of course, another important point is what is available near you. If you must travel far before exercising, it is often difficult to muster motivation, especially at a later stage of pregnancy, when traveling is difficult anyway.
